🍪 Ingredients
- Graham crackers – 1 full cracker (broken into 2 squares) per s’more
- Marshmallows – 1 large marshmallow per s’more
- Chocolate – 1 piece (about 1/2 of a Hershey’s bar square) per s’more
🔥 Instructions
- Prepare your base:
Place one half of a graham cracker on a plate or roasting stick surface. Top it with a square of chocolate.
- Roast the marshmallow:
- If you’re at a campfire: place the marshmallow on a skewer and hold it over the flame, rotating slowly until golden brown (or charred, if you like it that way).
- If indoors: you can toast the marshmallow over a gas stove, in the oven broiler for 1–2 minutes, or in the microwave for about 10–15 seconds (watch closely!).
- Assemble:
Sandwich the roasted marshmallow between the chocolate and the other half of the graham cracker.
Press gently until the chocolate starts to melt.
- Enjoy!
Let it cool for a few seconds and dig in!
🍫 Variations
- Peanut Butter S’mores: Spread a little peanut butter on the graham cracker.
- Caramel S’mores: Add a drizzle of caramel sauce before closing.
- Nutella S’mores: Swap the chocolate bar for Nutella spread.
- Fruity S’mores: Add banana or strawberry slices inside.
